1stage Posted August 24 Share Posted August 24 You shouldn't use BOTH a Mini Expander AND a Micro Expander at the same time. Unless you've disabled/removed the AY sound chip from the Micro Expander, it's competing against the AY sound chip that's already inside the Mini Expander on the same IO address. Also, if you try to use a RAM cartridge, it will compete against the 32kb RAM that's already in the Micro Expander as well. If your Micro Expander doesn't have a joystick breakout, they're easy to make (see attached), or maybe someone can make it for you.
