Holiday weekends can be difficult for some. I wasn't able to make it, again..LOL maybe next time. I spent the day on the beach with family. @8bitwidgets.com I'll want one of those 7800 MCP connector passthru/protector things when they're ready to ship.. Have a great Labor day tomorrow..
8bitwidgets.com
It was good. @timdu would have a better idea of the total as he took some emails for a mailing list.. I'd estimate it was between 10-20 people. Better than the last one. It's interesting how people are learning about it.. often it wasn't through any direct post from our efforts, but more like second hand stuff.. or kinda random.. so yea we're doing another in October, same dealio, third weekend saturday is our pattern. every other month.. this weekend was probably a touch tricky too because it was on a long weekend as you said. I agree that could have been a factor. So that might have impacted things also. . As for the 7800 MCP, I've done some initial measurements, but i'm down one of my two good printers waiting for warranty parts to show up. Once I get those, hopefully the installation isn't too bad.. I'm working on a 30 unit order for Cote Gamers for the next batch of LongPlay controllers. I'm happy to report I've made some minor enhancements to one of the joysticks which had a few issues of snapping.. making a tunnel down the middle of it i can put a small penny nail in it to give it added reinforcement. the pic isn't great, but the nail is flush and you can't feel the bump of the nail head. Anyway, the point is that i'm having to print a bunch of these which has occupied my printer all weekend.. an hour a set x 30.. not counting idle time between swaps.. it takes awhile.. i'm about 1/2 done.. but yea once i get the other fixed, i'll have the much needed added bandwidth to prototype and fill orders. Soon though. I have the 25 first batch of PCBs ready.. just need to be 100% confident it's a good fit. The intellivision MCP turned out great, but I'm waiting on Casey to test it on his 2609 before I "tell the world" about those. I know it fits perfect in Sears/Intellivoice and one for the INTV II.. but i'm not going to assume the 2609 models fit / lock in till I hear from Casey. Thanks! So I was thinking I might not need the MCP now... I might buy one later in the year to show my support...change that, when you bring 7800 MCP's to a meeting I WILL buy one! Ohhh I'm thinking of selling my Coleco collection and XEGS... figured I'd spread the word here.. wanna keep the sale local.

8bitwidgets.com
Cool, I was considering getting one but i think they were out of stock and wasn't sure how long it would take. I got my 7800 composite/s-video modded by ivory tower collections. just went with a concerto cart.. in the end the GD cart is probably better.. heh.. but while he was in there I had him install one of those gradual color changing LED power lights.. heh..
