Mega 4 Fair Value?

just looking for some input on what a fair sales price would be for a Mega 4… I bought one and it hasnt left the shipping box so I am going to let it go.. 

 

Dont want to be a jackhole like some of these ebay people and ask $1200 for it, but not really wanting to donate it either. 

 

Any comments appreciated..

Without the keyboard? Where? US/Europe/Australia?

has keyboard and I *think* it has been recapped. Not yellowed (though also does not look perfect) … I suppose I need to open the box and get pics..

Yeah, the keyboard layout is important to some... Like I won't buy one with a non-US keyboard unless it's a major sweet deal.  If it's just a "fair" price, I'll move on.  But then again, others may not care.

On Ebay, I've seen and have purchased Mega ST 4's, with keyboard and mouse, for $600 on average.  $400 just for the main unit, sans mouse or keyboard.  3rd party keyboard and mouse converters for PS2 mice work wonderfully and those are $60, give or take...

 

The STE is a lot more expensive, but rarer.
