MrChickenz
One idea I have is Arcade Pong cartridge release! You could name it Arcade Pong Plus! Another idea is to build a Blue Button Factory preferably across the street from the Red Button Factory! 🏭 😄 And of course the Vader+ Edited September 2 by MrChickenz
OscarGungan
It would be cool if the Atari + platform got big enough to warrant licensing games that never get on compilations because of rights issues. It would be cool to see a Star Wars or Tron multicart. I’d also like to see Atari be like the retro gaming equivalent of Cost Plus/ World Market. Where they find interesting homebrews from around the world and release them to a wide audience.
ShiftLock
I'm definitely big on quality homebrews and new releases for the plus systems, it would be good to a Mr Run and Jump 2 for example as that game is brilliant. suspicious_milk
Since a 5200+ console is unlikely for a myriad of reasons ... A nice quality wireless 5200 style controller; that works with the original 5200 and 2600/7800+. Bonus if it works with The 400 Mini and/or the Gamestation Pro. A nice set of Butcher Billy updated inlays for all 5200 & Intellivision games is really a no-brainer as well. SOME working version, new or old, of STAR RAIDERS for A+. It's embarrassing this ain't a thing currently.

A new version of STAR RAIDERS, It’s possible if 5200 controllers with a built in keypad were made to work in the 2600+! I like that! Or some kind of adapter for the controller. AtariYMás009
I would like to see other models of 2600+ such as the Vader+, the heavy sixer+, the jr+... Because the one that we all know is a four switches one, a model that I don't know why but never liked. I LOVE the look of the heavy and light sixers. As well as a different version of the cx40+, the cx10+, that would come with the heavy sixer+ Edited September 2 by AtariYMás009

Atari_Dan
Out of pure nostalgia, a 5200+ with reworked/tweaked controllers and the trackball.
+Fred_M
Looking at the videos Ben posted here: It might be a good idea to manufacture new trackball controllers. Besides the new A+ platforms this product can be quite successful. I know a lot of Atari 8-bit computer users (the trackball is compatible with the Atari 8-bit) who are looking for a trackball for ages. Especially in Europe these trackballs are very hard to find and are very expensive. A re-issue of the trackball can be appealing to a lot of people.

I had one years ago and used it quite a bit. Buying used is a bit of chance. But a re-issue, now you’re talking!
suspicious_milk
Not really for Atari+ but ... How about some PC cases, keyboards & mice that's Official Atari with classic Atari aesthetics. A few years back someone made a quality 400 themed usb keyboard; which quicly sold out & was selling for ~200 USD on the 2nd hand market. Some folks are going to emulate no matter many Atari consoles are pushed out; may as well drain those bastards of money like you're doing me 😜 Edit: I want an expensive high end ST themed case/kb/mouse. The tagline could be "Price without the Power" 🤣🤣🤣 Edited September 3 by suspicious_milk

I've been saying this for a while, I've got the VCS which I use as a media PC, but I'd like to build a more powerful system that is still 'Atari'.

THX-1138
I'd like to see an Intellivision solution for the + Platform, maybe an adaptor or something and a reissue of carts and controllers etc.
pseudografx
The "new" VCS is a nice little system, but performance-wise it's starting to show its age. I'd love to see a refresh with a more powerful CPU or maybe even more options to choose from. Something like the Ryzen 3 7440U up to Ryzen 7 7840U. Not that it has anything in common with Plaion or the Atari Plus platform.

The carts are fairly easy to come by even in the UK. Or maybe Atari could re-release Intellivision carts.

Yes! If Atari make some kind of Intellivision hardware that can play carts, they should re-release games for it. I've never quite understood the appeal of hiding the difficulty switches in the back. I guess I'm just old....

MrChickenz
What if Atari made a Colecovision expansion module with two built-in key pads! Coleco made an Atari one. Now’s Atari’s chance to get even! Edited September 4 by MrChickenz 1

shane857
For me personally, the only Atari+ platforms I would be interested in at the moment would be Intellivision, Jaguar and Lynx. That's not to say I wouldn't be interested in others I have no experience with thou..
r_chase
I'm not really sure, but I can see Atari+ having a handheld console that is compatible with the Lynx and, to capitalize on the popularity of GB Studio kinda games, GameBoy Color. Though, I think they would more likely just do a regular ol' Lynx+.
