Who owns the rights to Froggo Games?

Is there any chance Atari can gobble them up and reissue their games?

 

I mean, some of them are fun to play, and I'm sure me and the other 8 people trying to collect a full 7800 set would love a new chance to get Tank Command.

I’m endlessly curious about the history of Froggo Games they’ve got a really murky history. I did some research on them a couple years ago and it seems like it was one guy who would pay inexperienced people to make his games. I have always wanted to know the full story though, if anyone else knows what their deal is. At the least I’ve always thought their logo was super cute.

I'd love to know more about their history as well.

 

They did put out a wireless controller for the NES, so they at least briefly stepped outside of their (apparent) Atari comfort zone, but I've personally never seen anything else released by them, other than the 2600/7800 games of course.

 

(And for all I know, that NES controller was made by someone else and Froggo just added their touch/branding to it, not unlike their 2600 output.)

The easiest way to find out, write a Froggo game and release it!  Whoever (IF EVEN) contacts you and tells you to stop selling it, OR ELSE, is the person to ask.
