Does Atari or Tetris Company own the rights to those via the former Hasbro Interactive? if so those would be a great addition

They should, through Infogrames aquisition of Hasbro Interactive. They already have at least one Spectrum Holobyte Tetris in the collection.

Btw Digital Eclipse will apparently add three new games to the Worms collection, so it's possible they'll add Tetris games as well in the long run.

I'll check Worms out again after they add the games next year- pretty underwhelmed so far at it, though.

Weird, they got most versions of Tetris and Tetris 2, but not gameboy? Which really pushed Tetris into the spotlight, also weird versions like tetrisphere, which was unique and quirky, the vb version as well. I understand the absence of Tetris vs drmario versions.

Still, Tetris is cool, and despite me having the versions I bought over the years, including teengen version, this would let me get a ton I don't have, oddly. But, yeah, cost. Due to having so many I'd probably not buy if it exceeds $20 or so.

Here is my review of Tetris Forever

Thanks for your review.

You know you can remap the buttons?

I believe if you swap ‘down’ for A or B, you’ll almost get to NES Tetris with exception of the setting-screen being kinda akward… (having to push ‘down’ to select ‘speed’, ‘level’, ‘music’.

Haven’t played the titles enough nor seen the media content, so as to really give this collection a whole, deep and thorough review, but my first impressions lands it with something in the direction of  8,5/10 or 9/10.

Guess if original GB had been here in its original form the 9/10 would’ve been ensured or been a no-brainer.

Its a lot of Tetris fun and nostalgia, and playable ‘history’ here for most people who like something Tetris.

I do not know if that is an option in the control settings.

Agreed. $35 is too expensive. Making of Karateka is $20, Llamasoft Story is $30, and now Tetris Forever is $35. I'd consider buying physical releases at these prices but I'll be waiting a few years for a 75% off sale before buying digital.

Also, all of the trophies/achievements for Tetris Forever are related to the Electronika 60 and Time Warp games. Super easy and can be completed in about an hour. Trophies are trivial, but some extra challenges would have given me much more incentive to buy/play...
