purenergy
Does anyone repair a "dead" Lynx? One of my Lynx systems died recently. The LED power light flashes on quickly, but nothing else happens. I have tried three different power sources, and several games, but nothing happens except for the quick flash. Any idea if someone could repair it? Thanks, Brad
zanza
I just bought a dead Lynx II on eBay (which I know it was ) I will dismantle as soon as I receive it, so if I could be helpful I'll post my impressions. I only hope I could do something with it, not just breaking it in half

Videology
I just saw a web site that had battery covers and other parts available for sale. If you want, I'll see if I can find it again, or perhaps someone reading this string will know of one foe sale! Email me or post here and I will look for that web site again... Songbird
My guess is that the power jack has become unsoldered. Have you tried batteries on this unit? If they work, then the power jack is most likely the problem. Songbird does repair or replace Lynx II units (my discretion) for $49.95 plus shipping. Videology
quote The only thing that annoys me is that the girl who sold it to me didn't mention it was missing the battery cover... You can get a replacement battery cover from goatari.com He's a bit high on the costs, but he's got them... Videology
Atariman
if you need parts or have a lynx repair question, the people at best electronics probably can help. The webpage is www.best-electronics-ca.com I've emailed them a few times and they have been extremely helpful. Their prices are pretty good, too.
