Matt300ZXT
I'm looking to step into the 21st century and play my old consoles on my 4k tv. While I'm still not sure yet if I want an OSSC, or if I need the OSSC Pro, or one of the Retrotink variants, I'd like to see what you guys have collecting dust that you want to get rid of. Osgeld
nothing collecting in the dust or I want to get rid of but, I use a GBS Control its a 20ish buck absolute crap GBS8200 "CGA to VGA" converter, then thanks to the GBS Control project you take a 2-5 buck ESP microcontroller module to act as a brain slug that replaces the horrid stock controller and firmware to something quite very dang decent and lag free ... least up to 1080p I have a couple of them, one on a 720p shop TV and the other on my 4k (el diablo mierda tv) its a hack its output is VGA so if your TV doesnt have that you need adapters yadda yadda, its like 50 bucks if you buy one prebuilt vs the serious options Edited November 6 by Osgeld Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/374923-wtb-upscaler-for-modern-tvs/#findComment-5561234 Share on other sites
eightbit
Well, I have an OSSC Pro I just listed in the buy/sell forums, but it's brand new and pricey (although I am taking a $60 loss on it to be fair). If you are looking to play consoles on a 4K TV its really the way to go (or one of the other alternatives out there). I personally love the OSSC line due to its configurability.
