R-Epilogue And Rewind 2 - To real floppy ?

Hi, I would like to ask if is possible to create versions of these two great demos, which would be possible to use with real atari floppy disc (for example use with XF551 and 360kb format, or 2x180 . . . ).

Rewind 2 would require two 360KB disks or 4 180's. The demo file is almost 720KB long. A 3.5" XF551 clone (by @zaxon) would do the trick.

So, who will create a utility that would take a large .xex and flush a couple of .atr images with a special binary loader capable of "insert new disc" prompts?

The R-Epilogue demo fits in one side of a C60 Tape (Turbo 2000, ExpressLoading), loading time around 24 minutes. I wouldn't try the standard tape records, though.

Okay,

- here is R:Epilogue on one 180k diskside (packed with Exomizer)

- here is Rewind spread on two 180k disksides

Please test R-Epilogue and report back if it works or crashes / hangs somewhere.

 

Still to do (not me!):

- Rewind 2 demo (either the Exomizer version or the unpacked version)

- X-Demo (as two files, not 20-30 files, like the old 2x130k diskversion)
