Read the documentation for the sound engines... ?

Yes! where is it ?? ^^

Jagstudio installation/docs and website (https://reboot-games.com/jagstudio/) are *only* pointing on quick reference guides.

if there are more consistent documentations that i'm not aware of please add a link to your answer ;-)

The documentation(s) for the Sound Engine(s) is/are provided with the specific sound engine, on their git/website/whatever.  You will only find wrapper documentation for them with JS.

We would not presume to write documentation for code we did not create.

i perfectly understand that most Jaguar devs have done their homework and are used to tools and historical references and so on..

But for Jag noobs and ppl passing by just like me it's all *unknown* , i have no idea who could be the author of which part of the software and so on ^^

then adding links to external documentation into your ref manuals will not hurt.

Just out of curiosity: Did you try the example? Try googling "u235"? Check the MOD in the example?
