When I was a kid in the 80s, I spent some of my summers playing AD&D Cloudy Mountain at my two cousins' house.  That is the Intellivision game that I remember the most.

In January of 2013, I joined this forum during one of the "darker" periods of my personal life.  It brought back memories of my childhood.  From that point on, I was hooked.  I began collecting all 125 original games (although not all CIB) and nearly every homebrew game that came out, with my last one being Pyramid Warp.

I have some of the rarest collectibles, including two of the original 4-Tris games and the original Robot Rubble / League of Light.  Unfortunately, some of them experienced severe water damage in my basement.

In early 2023, I entered another "dark" period of my life.  Unfortunately, I will never be able to recover physically, emotionally, or financially.  At this time, I don't have the strength or motivation to sell any of my treasures.  Perhaps that will change in the future.  For now, those items will continue to sit in my basement gathering dust.

I have continued to monitor the Intellivision forum daily, but that will soon cease.  I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone here, especially those who have known me since the beginning.  It was a pleasure collecting with you and doing business with you.  Thank you for your generosity in putting games aside for me, and for giving me good leads, deals, and advice.

I am honored to have been part of the Intellivision Brotherhood for nearly 12 years.  I will now ride off into the sunset, but please know that I am a better person for it.  Thank you.  Goodbye.

I don't know about your dark period but I can tell you that AtariAge has helped me through some of my tougher times. There are people here who are very caring, plus it's still good to be able to get away for a bit and just be a kid again. That's been helpful for me, especially recently.

Dude,

We didn’t have the chance to interact that much…

I joined this Community at the end of 2020 and, during these 4 years, I could learn one thing about it:

you can leave the AA Inty Community…

but the AA Inty Community will never leave you!!!👍👍👍

And you’re right, don’t sell your collection (unless you need to do it) cuz, sooner or later, I’m sure that you will regret it big time, as lots of members here do right now!🤣🤣🤣🤣

I wish you a very good luck in your life, we are all with you, don’t forget it never!!!💪💪💪💪

The old saying, time heals all wounds.

I lost my collection, or sold it really. It hurt for a while but finally found peace with it. I can still play all the games with a flash cart and get just as much enjoyment. The only downside is some games have never been released on rom.

A silly thing i used to say in my old youtube videos was, you can't play the boxes. 😉
