BeigeRage
Hello everyone. First time posting here so sorry if it has been covered or I'm posting in the wrong place. I bought a GOTEK Floppy emulator to replace my 5.25 for easier use. It arrived today and is missing a pin. Haven't played with it yet as my PEB slot adapter is still printing. Will this make the unit unusable? Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376026-gotek-floppy-emu-missing-pin/ Share on other sites
+dhe
Often times, missing a pin, so you can plug a pin on the female side, so you don't put the cable in wrong. 1 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376026-gotek-floppy-emu-missing-pin/#findComment-5571644 Share on other sites

Pin 2 is the cable key. Most manufactured floppy cables have that hole plugged in the cable head. I would be more concerned about the bent pin on the bottom. Welcome aboard. 1 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376026-gotek-floppy-emu-missing-pin/#findComment-5571649 Share on other sites
