+Lewis2907
I was wondering what is the best, easiest and of course cheapest website to build and display homebrew games I have made, thanks. +Lewis2907
I meant something like what RT has separate from Bb. I saw that others have something similar, but I'm not too sure on the process or if it's a scam. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5571946 Share on other sites
+splendidnut
Seriously though, it's all dependent on what you're looking to do. Do you want: - A place to host a personal website, that you can build and display however you want? - A place that has a collection of homebrews already? - A place with a store front, so that you can advertise and potentially sell your games? 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5571947 Share on other sites
+Lewis2907
A place to display content as I want, but nothing crazy then store my games. No plans on selling them. Basically make it easier for my friends and family to see what I made. Then when my grandkids get a little older they can access the website. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5571952 Share on other sites
Cobra!
If you know HTML, making a website is probably the best way. The second best is probably itch.io? 2 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5572102 Share on other sites
+Lewis2907
I checked out itch.io seems interesting, but not what I'm really looking for for. I would say the way RT has his page, which I recall he pays for is something I was looking for for. That way it's just my stuff. Hope what I'm trying to convey makes sense 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5572391 Share on other sites
+Atarius Maximus
Wordpress.com is an inexpensive and easy to use site. I host my site maximusgames.us at namecheap.com and use their most inexpensive wordpress hosting plan. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5572428 Share on other sites
LatchKeyKid
I pretty much exclusively post my meagre efforts here though I do also link back to the posts here on various facebook groups. Something easy to manage and share with my friends and grandkids so they have something to show their classmates and stuff. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5572550 Share on other sites
KevKelley
I had made a site with wix. Granted I haven’t really updated it but it was easy to make a nice looking page real quick. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/376058-website-to-display-your-homebrews/#findComment-5573570 Share on other sites
