Sometimes we'll play the Intellivision but we generally work on an RPG (we're currently playing Earthbound). I have a good friend who lives nearby who says he wants to get together to play. We'll see. Do you get together with anyone to play? wolfy62 Posted November 26 Share Posted November 26 I am fortunate enough to have my friend Steve,who I have known for 50 years,still living near me so we can play Intellivision and other retro games for 5 or 6 hours every month or two. We don't like all the same kind of games,but we do agree to play Intellivision Baseball, Golf and Skiing regularly. My kids have no interest in Intellivision nor does my Wife. My Son and Daughter have their PS5 and Switch,my games look stupid to them.😄 I play a bunch alone,lots of Beamrider, Dreadnaught Factor, AD&D and lots of homebrews also. My wife likes some video games, but she won't play Intellivision with me, for as she says, "I don't really care for that weird controller ..." (Pshaw! The philistine!) Occasionally -- very seldomly -- I get a chance to play with my granddaughters when they come to visit. I also do not play so much any more, being busy with many other interests (including programming for the Intellivision itself); but when I do, it is mostly on my own. My wife sits on the sofa and occasionally watches and cheers me on, so at least there's that. There are some guys in this board that live relatively close by (read: within the same state), so perhaps we should plan for a regular "game night" monthly or so ... But most of the time I'm playing by myself either on my modded up Super Pro or Nintellivision. gar0u Posted November 27 Share Posted November 27 I tend to play the Space Network games; Astrosmash, Space Hawk, and Space Battle. Love Utopia, too. Occasionally I can rope my family into playing on my original Intellivision II or my RetroPi Arcade. Mostly Advanced D&D and Tron Deadly Discs&Dogs… They are getting quite good actually… They complete level red in AD&D and I’m pretty sure that soon they will complete also the purple one soon..
