Hyperdrome opinions?

I'm not a big Hyperdrome fan, but it is more fun with Comlynx play. You can play up to 4 people at once if you have 4 carts.

 

It takes practice... the computer AI is pretty good at finishing you off, but you can win with practice (as the game should be).

 

I have always had a hard time getting used to the graphics color scheme... a bit hard on my eyes. Others absolutely love this game... overall I give it about 6 out of 10, but higher with comlynx play.

Has anyone here played this game? Is it any good? It looks pretty fun, and I've always enjoyed Ballblazer. Is there computer AI in the game at least? I'm not likely to be able to find anyone to play 2 player with...

Does Hyperdrome came in a CD-case like the picture on Telegames homesite when you bay it new? Or is just the cart and instructions included like on the picture here o Atariage?

I have one Hyperdrome cart that came in a baggie with black & white photocopied instructions. My other Hyperdrome carts came loose with nothing.

 

I've never seen a box or CD case created for Hyperdrome.
