Maarten Martens
Hi, I just got my lynx. I don't have batteries yet, nor a original power supply. Is there somebody out there who knows the Voltage/ampere/mghz level (V/A/Mghz) for this little console? I have some other adapters (from the gamegear) which I might be able to use... Thanx, Maarten
Videology
I don't have mine with me right now, but off the top of my head, you need 9Vdc with 1.2 Amps. I think it is tip positive... I look when I get home tonight and let you know for sure. I never measured the tip size, but You could find that out by trying out the tips at Radio Shack even if you don't buy it there... Albert
According to the Lynx FAQ, the power requirements are 9V DC, 1A. I just pulled my Lynx II out and the tip is Positive. ..AL
Maarten
thanx a lot guys, to bad I haven't got such a power supply, I'll have to wait a little before I can test my precious new Lynx 2 :-) Cheers
Albert
You can probably find something at Radio Shack that'll do the trick. One of those "multi-voltage" adapters will probably work. If you bring your Lynx in with you, you can make sure that one of the connectors will fit into the Lynx. Whoops, I just realized you're in Belgium. Well, you must have something equivalent to Radio Shack, right? ..Al [ 05-22-2002: Message edited by: Albert ]
