Tom-Lynx
I thought there were 3 AvP true prototypes out there and they were all identical. This seller claims there are 2 and that this one is more complete. Very interesting.... anyone know the history of AvP on the Lynx and how far it got? Ze_ro
Check it out... don't see this one come around very often. I only wish I had the money to actually compete in this auction I find it interesting that the sellers claims to have gotten through 5 levels... on the rom from AtariAge, I can't seem to find a way to beat the first level even. Could this be a more complete version? --Zero
Tom-Lynx
Wow... it's up to $400 and 4 days to go still on the auction. I was going to make a bid, but not at THAT level! Tom
Songbird
Well, the guy who's selling it (Kevin) paid more than that on eBay when he bought it a year ago or so, so it's no surprise he wants to recoup that investment... I don't blame him a bit for the high reserve. I've only heard of / seen two AvP protos, FWIW, and this is one of them.
Tom-Lynx
Wow....it sold for $740!!!! Now THAT'S a valuable cart. I haven't seen any Lynx cart fetch that amount on ebay before... this has to be a record. Tom
Ze_ro
Wow, it certainly outsold my expectations. I didn't think the Lynx community was large enough to get the price up that high. But if any Lynx game was going to fetch that high a price, it would definitely be this one. Should a Vindicators, Rolling Thunder, or 720 prototype be found, I doubt it would beat out this. --Zero
