Classic Pac
I know this sounds dumb to you long time computer fans. Where are the COCO sites. I was messaging another COCO owner like me on another board and he didn't know either. Are there any? No search engine I ever used was capable of finding just one. Randy California
What the hell does this have to do with A8 computers? Can't you post this on Classic Gaming General? Sheesh... ++ RC ++
Bryan
Try looking here: http://www.axess.com/twilight/sock/ I'm not a huge fan of the Coco. Although it used a decent CPU, the rest of the design was total crap. The Coco 3 was better, but by that time there were much better choices. -Bry
RangerG
You need to search for color computer and not TRS 80. This site is great for screenshots of games (cart, tape, disk): http://nitros9.stg.net/coco_game_list.html I think you posted to me on DP (about my Dragon question)? Take care, RG

There were things I totally dug about both.
Bryan
Lots of opinions being again, passed around as facts. Start a Coco topic in the Atari 8-bit forum and you get what you get. The 6809 is a great chip, but the minimalistic archetecture of the Coco 1 & 2 (based on Motorola's sample circuit designs) was no match for the dedicated hardware of the Atari 800 and Commodore 64. I did, however, say that the Coco 3 was an improvement. It was closer to the ST's hardware but with an 8-bit CPU. -Bry
