neotokeo2001
BIN and Instructions available below. The Empire has launched a Tie Fighter attack against your base. Launch your X-Wing Squadrons to intercept them. Protect your Base at all cost!! The object of the game is to defend the Rebel Base from attacking Tie Fighters. You have 3 squadrons, with 3 ships in each squadron. The Empire have 6 squadrons of varying sizes. (Only 3 appear at a time on the Radar Screen.) Destroy all the Ties and you win! If your squadrons are destroyed first, the Ties move in and annihilate the hidden Rebel Base. xwing.zip
neotokeo2001
You should really read the instructions included with the BIN. Otherwise you will be completely lost.
StanJr
Pretty cool way to make Space Attack more fun! Is there any way to make those TIE's a little less squatty? I forget what the original enemy ships look like, but these don't strike me as all that different?
neotokeo2001
Pretty cool way to make Space Attack more fun! Is there any way to make those TIE's a little less squatty? I forget what the original enemy ships look like, but these don't strike me as all that different? I have had really cool looking Tie Interceptors as well as regular Tie Fighters. The only problem is the detailed Ties cause alot of flicker and sprite drop out. This was the best version that did'nt cause chaos with the display. Screenshot below shows the original enemy ship. I am working on a more detailed version that makes extensive changes to the map as well. One hint (Galactica). As with all my hacks, Any improvement someone can make is alright by me. Just post them here so we can see them.
StanJr
wow, I guess there is a big difference! Sorry about that! This is a tough game to hack it seems to me, because there is little in the way of actual sprites to play with.
ATARI TROLL
Neo, although I don't always post on your threads. Let this sum it up: You outdo yourself everytime! Cheers
