neotokeo2001
A Vector Graphic version of Rob Kudlas Space Invaders. Yes. I'm on a Vector Graphic kick. Just think of the possibilities!! si_vector.zip
sku_u
I just played and flipped the score. It's been a while since I've played SI. You did a great job simulating the vector graphics. If you do a run of these in cart form, I'd be interested.

I wouldn't mind a cart of this as well but I was thinking you're doing some cool hacks, maybe you can get together with someone and make a mulitcart with a few of your hacks on there

It's amazing how a few changes in the graphics can make a game enjoyable again. As far as getting carts made, my plate is pretty full with Cosmic Bowling and Death Race as well as another project. Maybe someone at Atari Age can offer them?
Adrian M
I REALLY like this version...the simulated vector graphics are fantastic and the whole game just seems that much closer to the arcade version! Chalk me up for a cart if you do decide to do a run via the AA store!
Nukey Shay
THAT'S what I'm talking about Vector-style graphics just seem to be more antique...and sometimes even help the graphic images appear to move more smoothly.
ATARI TROLL
Stay on the vector kick. Cheers

NE146
A Vector Graphic version of Rob Kudlas Space Invaders. Hmmm that bottom invader looks like mine. Or if it isn't, why isn't it? Yes. I'm on a Vector Graphic kick. Just think of the possibilities!! I thought of them back in '98 when I did Vector Asteroids (which was brought about by seeing all these "vector" hacks of arcade games like Pacman, etc... so it got me thinking: "Heck, why not on 2600 Asteroids!"). But I just kind of stopped there rather than doing it on other games.. It's pretty cool to see them being done now though. I dig the hack

I dig the hack I played the ASTERHAWK hack, which is basically Vector Asteroids, and that gave me the inspiration for the Vector Space Invaders. I've run dry on new hack ideas lately so the Vector thing gives me something to do.
