Cousin Vinnie
This is a stupid question...but here goes... I just won Water Ski and it is new in the box. I want to play it, but yet I don't want to ruin the value of the game by unwrapping it. Is it easy to shrink wrap it back up, or should I leave it alone...especially if it sucks??? Hakogame 箱亀
Due to the rarity of that game, you might want to just play it on an emulator.

Cousin Vinnie I say open it up and play it. What's the point of owning them if you won't play them? The price difference between shinkwrapped and complete is small anyway. Tizoc
quote: Originally posted by Cousin Vinnie: Is it easy to shrink wrap it back up, or should I leave it alone...especially if it sucks??? IMHO, Water Ski does not suck. It is a hard as hell game to play though. A lot of people say that, and I think a lot of people jump on the bandwagon, without ever giving the game a chance. It does have dull graphics, they could have been better. The gameplay is pretty hard. The Joystick controls the boat direction (left, right) and the speed (up,down); also the skier behind the boat is controlled by the fire buttons (left fire button moves the skier left, and vice versa) Thats a lot of control options. Now, mix in ramps that you jump for points, also throw in some obstacles that can crash either the boat or the skier. That's a lot of variables and makes for a damn hard game. In my opinion, Hard games are addictive. Because a game is hard doesn't necesseraily mean it sucks. It's gonna take a few tries to pick this one up, don't expect to pick this one up right away. Remember, the following when you play: It is possible to hit every ramp, score 1,000,000 points and live to a very old age without ever seeing level three. If you want to keep it shrinkwrapped, buy a loose cart to play. They are a lot cheaper loose. But, you gotta give the game a chance.
liquid_sky
I think you should try it on an emulator, and if you like it then unwrap it and play it. Think of it as food.. are you going to let a beautiful cake sit there. or are you gonna enjoy it and eat it? I dont reccomend eating water ski, but enjoy it. Even tho i think it sucks.. what the hell is up with the invisable stumps??
