The game is still a total flicker-fest, I had to paste together several screenshots to make the one below. Defender was actually one of my projects after my first 'vector' hack but I wasn't successful with what I wanted to do.. then thought.. "why not make it vector too?", But I never did it! It's cool to see it being done though. neotokeo2001 Posted April 26, 2004 Share Posted April 26, 2004 OK, I'm showing my ignorance here but what exactly is "Vector"? -Tim Vector graphics are drawn by a line from point A to point B(Like connect the dot). These hacks are not real Vector Graphics, just graphics made in the vector style. A good example of real vector graphics is Asteroids or Tempest in the arcade or the Vectrex home system. I did the Space Invaders Vector hack just to see what it would look like, and it has grown from there. If you are emulating in Stella, use hotkeys Alt+p to enable phosphor effect, the flicker is less.
