Dantaipan
I realize the O2 a/v is very easy but does anyone know (or can take) pics showing the solder points? Thanks.
Susuwatari
O^2 is on my list. If no one does provide the picture, I will when I get my O^2 done. I was going to hold it off until I get my 5200 working but either no one knows why my 5200 has bad color or no one cares.
tantone56
yeah I think pics of the mod would really help. Im also not good with those high tech schematic drawings
Dantaipan
I did the mod last night sans-pics but the audio wasn't working. Think I soldered to the wrong point. It was getting late so I had to quit last night but once I get it working I will post a pic.
Dantaipan
Here you go! Finished the mod tonight and everything works and looks great. Here is my crappy photo of the solder points. I haven't installed photoshop on my new machine yet so it looks like crap.
Susuwatari
Better pictures... In yellow circle, A is for audio and V is for video. Connect the Audio to center pin of the RCA port and video to the center of a second RCA port. The outside part of both RCA port are to be connected to ground anywhere the large metal shield connects to. I haven't tried my mod yet (no RCA jacks to use with) but it looks like you can simply leave out the whole RF modulator and forget about it. I don't know if S-Video is possible but I don't think it is.
Dantaipan
Nice pics. I was out of memory on my CF card and in a hurry to get my O2 back together so my pic sucks. Those pics will be very handy for anyone doing this mod in the future.
