Xot
Well, my plans are finally in place and Philly is pretty much a go at this point. So I will be back to fulfill all your red beard and auctioneering needs. I'm hoping to run a Pac-Man VS. tourney this year. Who'd be up for that? heavy-sixer
For those who have been to the Phillyclassic before, which is the better hotel: the Radisson or the Scanticon? I made reservations for the Radisson. Are both hotels connected to the convention center?

I made reservations for the Radisson. Are both hotels connected to the convention center? I stayed at the macintosh in once and that was real close to the convention center. I really liked the macintosh cause it was very clean and they had a continental breakfast... Not a big breakfast only a few thing but still it was a very pleasent place to stay
Curt Vendel
Hi all, I usually try to "theme" out each time I bring the Atari Museum out to the public, so instead of just showing the same old things each year I try to see to it, different items and different presentations are done to keep it interesting... This year I was going to focus on showing off how Atari programmers actually created games.... so I was going to bring out some of the original modified 800 computers, an S-100 system with a bunch of custom Atari boards to simulate 2600 and 5200 systems inside (which will be setup in a showcase fashion so everyone can see) and I was considering hauling out one of Atari's actual CED mainframes which (accidentally rolled out the backdoor during the sale of the company in 84') has been sitting in a programmers garage all these years but is working again and I thought would be nice to showcase for showgoers to see... Just wanted to get everyones feedback, is this presentation something everyone would like to see this year, I only have 40 some-odd days to prepare the museum for the show. heavy-sixer
Curt, I think seeing "how Atari programmers actually created games" would be a great theme! I'd certainly want to see that.
Tempest
Personally I'd like to see "How Atari Programmers Blew Their Money". Now THAT would be an interested (if not X rated) display. Tempest
