Ed Siegler
From a private message train, looks like a trip to The Outback (which seems like it's becomming the official restaraunt of Atari conventions) is in order. There is also a Valley Forge Brewing Co. right next door as previously mentioned that is a fine choice as well. Remember folks, this will be a late night dinner kind of thing. We probabally won't leave the con hall untill 10pm or so. I have a car going of Mr. & Mrs. MMF, Mr. & Mrs. Stan, Big Player, and SS (unless I have traded him off by then). Directions are available, or if someone want to do the follow the leader train thing, that is welcomed as well.

chrisbid
i dont know if i should post here, or create my own thread, but i would like to attend the show this year, as ive missed shows in the past, and with the cancellation of the CinciClassic last year, ive got a jones for a classic gaming show. the limitation is that i not have a car, so for me to go, id have to share a ride and a room once im there. im in columbus ohio, and i know there are more than a few AAer's that live in ohio and bordering states. I know its a bit late in the game to be making plans, but if anyone is willing to give me a ride out there (of course i would help pay for gas) and/or split a room with me in philly, shoot me a PM
thirdbird
To anyone who can help me get to Philly, please reply or PM me. I live in northern Jersey toward Manhattan and can figure out the train schedule but just wondered where people are staying, and any other info for someone who's never attended a gaming event. I'm excited to meet fellow AA'ers! and see those I've met before- Chicky, Z28, JoeyB!

I'm definietely not staying over and just going for 1 day trip. The problem is work, at the last meeting they were talking about a large project that might keep me home that weekend(and the weekend after) I'm afraid to tell you I can definietely give you a lift and then have to cancel on you. To anybody else in NY or NJ that's going: TB is a super cool chick so if you have definitive plans, give her a ride to Philly!
Albert
There is a forum over on the PhillyClassic site, people looking for rides may be able to find someone else to hitch up with there. ..Al

Ed Siegler
Sadly no, he won't be there. Possibly for PC6. We both should be in attendance for AGE II should the scheduling work out (cough cough AL!!!)
mstulir
We posted a bunch of updates in the "events" section of the PhillyClassic web site. Much more to come in the next few days. Also, it is time to start practicing your classic coin-op gaming skills. Twin Galaxies will be having their 2004 World Championships at PC5. mstulir
Hi Matt: Yeah, it should be pretty exciting. There will be a number of the TG players in attendance. I have confirmed names like Dave Nelson, the Cram Brothers, Greg Bond, etc. The TG Spy Hunter, Mark Little, will be there as well. The tournament will consist of 7 classic coin-op games. Everyone who wishes to compete will have to play in front of a TG referee and submit a score on each game. Mike

What could be better? The Mrs. and I will have a rental, so we can probably transport at least one or two if we're carpooling. Hopefully she'll drive if I drink.
