+Random Terrain
The archives are down and many images are dead on various pages. Does anyone know what is going on? This question is probably in the wrong forum, but I don't know which one it should go in.

+Random Terrain
I hope it is just maintenance. They have some good interviews in the Archives and I link to at least one of them. I get a "The page cannot be found" error when I go to this page: http://www.digitpress.com/archives/arc00131.htm And the main page for the Archive gives me this: http://www.digitpress.com/archives/index.htm Not FoundThe requested URL /archives/index.htm was not found on this server. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/1.3.26 Server at www.digitpress.com Port 80 I hope they fix the problem soon. +Random Terrain
It's still down. If it's not back soon, I'll have to delete my links. That sucks!

+Random Terrain
I finally found the forum this thread should be in: Gaming Publications and Websites I knew there was a place for this kind of thing, I just couldn't find it. [Thanks for moving this thread. (Who was that masked man?)]

Jasoco
If it makes you feel better, it's only the Archives. The rest of the site is fine. What's so big about the Archives? Am I missing something?
liquid_sky
most of the good articles are in the archives, thats why it matters.

What's so big about the Archives? Am I missing something?[/quote']There's some great stuff in there' date=' including a great interview with Howard Scott Warshaw. "Can I say [b']great[/b] one more time?" "Sure I can!" "Great!" I don't like to have dead links on my web site for too long if I can help it because that damages the experience for visitors, but sometimes web sites will go offline for days and there's nothing you can do about it. I hope I won't have to take down my links.
MacGurl
I was having problems with the entire site this weekend running really slow, but everything seems to be back to normal for me today.
Mayhem
They've installed a new pipe and server system, as it was being strained by the current bandwidth requirements. Hopefully things will be better now...
punkoffgirl
A lot of files were also shuffled over to a mirror site (videogamearchive.com, I BELIEVE, but don't quote me exactly) to lighten the bandwidth load.
+Random Terrain
That's good. All back to normal. For anyone who wondered what the big deal was, here's that good interview I hoped wasn't gone forever: http://www.digitpress.com/archives/arc00131.htm
