AtariDude
Hi Everyone. I am currently selling some Odyssey2 games on Ebay (total of 12 games) but I was not able to get 4 of them to work. I figured that maybe the contacts are dirty but unlike Atari 2600 cartridges, they seem to be more inside the hard plastic. What is the best way to clean them? I have Qtips and Rubbing Alcohol that I use for cleaning Sega Genesis and Atari 2600 games. Will a similar approach work for Odyssey2 games or will it be difficult to get the Q-Tip inside given how small the space is between the outer cartridge and the inner pins? I would appreciate any help that could you provide regarding suggestions. Thanks
PickAxePete
Ginger Ale. Just kidding. Actually, it was Ginger Ale that ruined my original Speedway, Spin Out, Crypto-Logic cart. Underneath the sticker are two screws. You can unscrew the cart open and check it out inside. There maybe a dust bunny in there. Or it could partly be the O^2 connectors. Buy a can of compressed air and blow out any dust that's inside the unit. You could also try that with the cartridges. But I wouldn't use anything wet. You could make things worse. AtariDude
Thanks. I will try that. I hope it works. I used to like K.C. Munchkin back in the day and it would be nice to be able to play it again.
