LesserRaven
In this game, everybody is mad. The Atari fans are mad, the Native American rights activists are mad, the historians are mad, and the parents are mad. You play General Custer trying to defend yourself against angry mobs of people in this edit of Demon Attack!... Well, what were you expecting? EDIT: No, this game is not explicit or objectionable in any way. custer.zip
ATARI TROLL
LMFAO-The title is quite deceptive. I like this one. If you check out my hacks page (link in signature block..I did a title "Custer's Viagra"-Based off "Custer's Revenge") Needless to say it didn't win the popularity vote. . I dig this hack-Two thumbs up Cheers

ATARI TROLL
trial and error using hack o matic and hex editors. I am reading on Andrew Davies 2600 programming for newbies from time to time. Hacks are fun, but the programming or learning how to is a challenge. Cheers

I think the hack should be called: Have A Nice Day!

You can get Hack-o-Matic here: www.dacodez.tk I don't use anything else for my hacks. Everything is done using Hack-o-Matic. After you get your feet wet with it then you can move up to disassemblys. ATARI TROLL
Hack-o-matic and HOM2 are available for download off my hacks page (middle nav link ...in the middle of my page) My hacks page link is in my signature block. Hex editors are available anywhere online. I am on a mac so to completely answer your question I would say I don't know (what system are you using pc or mac)?? How do I change the colors?
ATARI TROLL
One way to change color is this tool here. HOM2 does as well if I am not mistaken. I use a mac at home and don't mess around with PCs and hacking games at the work place (Bigger Brother). Anyway, I have a pc laptop I may fire up just to see what HOM2 has vs HOM1. I can't find anyone who has written a HOM2 script for the mac side. So My answers to you are vague. If your bored check out this tool. http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28523 Cheers

ATARI TROLL
I Meant to say that you can hack color with the AHD tool if I am not mistaken. My apologies in my reference towards HOM2. Correct me if I am wrong but HOM2 just has a few more menu options than HOM1. Cheers and again my bad stan!
StanJr
Right, no big. Oh and AHD only hacks color if you have some sort of file for the game you are trying to hack, in the end its a titanic pain in the butt, better to learn a little about coding so you can just go in and change the colors (that's what I do). Maybe someday a better color hacker will come along....
Dan Iacovelli
you can't change color with AHD(unless you have the second version of it, which was never released) unless you know something we don't

Rocko
The question above and: I have a hex editor, but I have no Idea what I am looking for.
ATARI TROLL
Nukey or Stan or someone: correct me here if I am wrong, Once you disassemble the bin, try messing with the actual game code using a hex editor. @Iacovelli: your right, you can't hack color unless you have AHD 2.0 and you still need the .ahd file to change color. @STAN: I did use HOM2 on my (big brother owned laptop) just to see. Neo is right. you can hack color with HOM2. I have to use HOM1(MAC script) because I don't think there is a mac backing to produce HOM2 script for us mac users. Course I could be wrong (LOL) Prove it someone by posting a download of HOM2 for the macs wishful thinking ( ) cheers
