odyssey 2 - attached controllers or detachable?

is there any one of these that is more desireable than the other? I currently have the console with the attached and was wondering if I should look for 1 with detachable controllers too. what do you think?

I think the detachable are slightly harder to find, but not SO much harder to find or desirable that they demand a much higher price.

I don't think it matters much. I have the attached type, but I wanted that because that's what I had when I was a kid..

 

And swapping those is easy too, just open the case and they have a header you just unplug...

 

From what I can tell on EBay, the detached style seem a bit more rare, so maybe it's more desirable that way.

 

Since the detached don't work as is with Atari sticks, that doesn't matter. And if you're building an Atari to O2 adapter, it's just as easy to build one for either system...

 

It's a wash.. All preference..

I don't really think it matters, although detachable joysticks would make the system easier to store.
