In honor of the launch of the Nintendo NES Rarity List the staff of Gamerzuniverse is proud to announce a NES fantasy label design contest. Take your favorite NES game and design the label the way you thought it should be!!!! The winning label will receive a $30.00 merchandise credit at the Gamerz Universe Store . Second place receives $15 merchandise credit and Third place receives $5 merchandise credit. All submissions should either be posted here or sent to gamerz@gamerzuniverse.net by 5-1-2004. All submissions can eventually be viewed in the Contest Gallery. Contestants may enter up to 4 submissions. Rules and guidelines: 1. All entries must be original designs. 2. Cart labels should conform to the dimensions of the label from that particular company. 3. All files must be in .JPG format at 100% quality. Have fun!!!! Feel free to ask any questions. gamerz Posted March 6, 2004 Author Share Posted March 6, 2004 I can give you a template for a regular NES game, but the tengen style is harder due to the angle at the end of the label. As for fonts, since this is design your own label, you dont have to use a Nintendo style font, also I have looked over at least 500 fonts, and have yet to find a good clone. My scanner sucks so the color is off on the template. Maybe someone should reproduce the label with that stupid bubblehead character being eaten up by one of those acidic puddles!
