Matthias
Hello! 1. Can anyone provide a brief discussion of the mechanics of the "game save feature"? AFAIK the program checks for integrity at startup and warns you if the content of the E2prom isn't recognized. This gives you the chance to re-insert the cartridge if it is just caused by a bad slot-connection, else the E2prom will be initialized with default-values. When you gained a new world record the program will write to the E2prom after the two screens with the 6 values of the results. 2. Can anyone advise if AG supports comlynxing (e.g. for "Speed Skating")? There is no ComLynxed diszipline, the only usage of the Comlynx-port is for the BLL-loader. +davidcalgary29
Thanks! Do you happen to know if "Eye of the Beholder" also utilized the "E2prom" cartridge format?
Matthias
Hi! Thanks! Do you happen to know if "Eye of the Beholder" also utilized the "E2prom" cartridge format? Alpine Games (and other cartridges sold by Lars Baumstark) uses serial E2proms (of 128 Bytes). I am not sure, but wasn't it said that EyeOfTheBeholder would use a SRAM?
