ATARI TROLL
I especially love it when he gets shot! Very nice Krytol!! Definate plus on the walls! Cheers
neotokeo2001
The best wall design that I have seen in Berzerk. Good Job! Do I just suck?, or is it possible to start out stuck in a corner and not be able to squeeze thru?
Saikyo
hmm it looks cool shame i cant get it in IPS format though (hint[]hint)
Krytol
Do I just suck?, or is it possible to start out stuck in a corner and not be able to squeeze thru? I've been able to squeeze through most passages, but I've noticed Otto can be a bit 'jumpy', causing him to hit walls. A second thing I need to work on is one screen where he dies instantly - the 'robot' walls when Otto appears on the right.
Saikyo
hmm im wondering is there an editor available for Berserk? as i have no true programming knowledge of the 2600 at all!
Krytol
IPS format ?
neotokeo2001
hmm it looks cool shame i cant get it in IPS format though (hint[]hint) Since you need the original BIN of Berzerk anyway, just download the BIN file that he posted.
neotokeo2001
IPS format ? A patch file used to convert the original BIN.
bjk7382
Great Hack I love berzerk anyway, I have mostly been playing the 8bit computer version. That is a damn good port of the game. "Chicken Fight Like A Robot" I really like the new levels though and, it is a good death animation.
Saikyo
I dumped that game too already ok? If you want to make an IPS get a patch creator convertor for example Lunar IPS and use the original BIN first then the modified BIN and you should have a patch! Take no notice of the snes patching device message it works with mostly all patchable games!
Saikyo
ooh you probably dont know what i mean about dumped well check out my new comments that take over the old comments! Good job the atari 2600 version dont "KILL" you like the arcade version!
Brad2600
I like it! More fun than regular Berzerk!
Blackbird
Looks nice! Hard to squeeze through in some places, but I like the room designs overall. I dumped that game too already ok? If you want to make an IPS get a patch creator convertor for example Lunar IPS and use the original BIN first then the modified BIN and you should have a patch! Take no notice of the snes patching device message it works with mostly all patchable games! Might I ask why you'd need an IPS patch? Nobody's had legal action taken against them for owning old media like this... in addition, if you own the original cart and dumped it, then you have rights to make a backup. You have rights to own a backup. Would you not then have the rights to own a modified backup, where you have purchased rights to the original software and free rights to the hacked portions?
