minorleagueguy
Just got home a while ago, down-loaded the pics in this forum. The venue was great, clean and bright. When I got there, the room looked small, later, TokenGamer was there, and the other venders showed up. I was 1st in line to get in, and bought something from the 1 st table I hit. I bought something from every table but 2, as they didn't have anything I was looking for. I also met 5-11under, and EricBall, both were very nice guys!, as were all the people there! There was something for everyone! TokenGamer did the door prizes between 5:15 and 5:45, and by 6, we were gone. I guess there will be another show sometime in August, so I can start saving now!!! Overall, a very good day collecting (I added 40 games to mine), and selling from talking with the venders. minorleagueguy hopefully, the others will post also... K3V
Looking forward to the pics and reports. The event is pretty close for me, but being that PC was last weekend I really wasn't up for another road trip just yet. August might be a possibility though! EricBall
As I told my wife, it was a good thing I'm not a collector, or it would have been hard not to spend significant $$. As it was, I picked up a complete 7800 system (including the all-important power supply) along with some carts to tide me over until my CC2 is done. Lots of 8 bit and 16 bit era stuff (lots of 2600 carts), along with a surprising number of TV-tennis games and LED based handhelds.
minorleagueguy
Yeah, I was pleasently surprised by how much 8-bit stuff there was. But, I was able to add 40 games and some controllers plus a pong system to my collection, so I'm $400 (Cdn.) poorer, as I spent the last $65 on a table top DK and DK Jr. Overall, it was a fun day, but I think for August, they need a slightly bigger room, and maybe, just maybe, if one of us agrees to do it, AA can send up some of their stuff(hacks, repros,ect.)there.Maybe send 3-5 of each game, and we can set up a couple of tables! I would gladly stand there and sell the games for AA. Judgeing by how many 2600/5200/7800 stuff people bought(games, systems) I think all the AA stuff would sell out! What do you think Al?? I'm offering... ship everything to me in Buffalo, then I can drive it up there(1hour 15 min.), then ship what's left(yeah, right) back to you???mmmmmmmmm??? minorleagueguy
birdie3
That looked like it would have a good old time. Congrats on the Bumper Bash. It hurts to think I didn't go to that.
