Krytol
I know some other AA members have made their own (bigger and better), but I couldn't find the threads by searching. Anyway, thought I'd share. It holds 84 carts. Here are some pics:
sku_u
That looks great. What materials did you use?

Krytol
That looks great. What materials did you use? I assembled it from leftovers. I think the outside is pine, the front is some thin oak veneer, and the little slots are some cheap pressboard.
pmpddytim
Thats really nice! You should draw up plans, put them on a cd and sell'em. Tim

BassGuitari
Cool! How long did it take you to make?

Krytol
Cool! How long did it take you to make? Longer than I anticipated. Many mistakes were made. Getting those slots to line up from column to column (using a radial arm saw) was a royal pain in the arse, but I finally figured out a technique. I'd say a total of 9 or 10 hours. Mindfield
I've been considering doing something like that for some time now. Working where I do I have access to all the necessary tools, I just need to get the wood. Ideally I'd like to make a few large ones that hold 100 or so. It's just a matter of finding the time an energy to start a project like that.
