Tsukasa
Right then, it's not much of a poll if there's only one choice. I don't have anything against Q*bert's Qubes, but I don't really care for the 2600 version of Mr. Do!'s Castle. I like the arcade version though. I had forgotten about Super Cobra and Star Wars: TAG. So the poll choices(revised) are: Gyruss Super Cobra Star Wars: TAG
sabeen557
Favorite Adventure Hack: Adventure Plus Adventure SI Adventure34 Back to the Future II Adventure Magic Show Suicide Adventure Zelda Hacks? I don't play no stinkin hacks of Adventure. When I was a kid I only had the original and the select switch didn't work so I had to play on easy, I memorized the levels so I played it in my sleep which lead to the cart burning up and I had an addiction to the game so I had to walk 15 miles in the snow without shoes (we spent the shoe money on adventure) to get a new one. Troy_Whelan
Which collection would you like to see most on modern consoles?A5200 Games Jaguar Games Colecovision Games C64 Games NES Games SMS Games Polls are fun, but they usually just satisfy curiousity. I like the suggestion above a lot, especially if someone could forward the results to the right people. You might be suprised... I sent a lot of correspondence to Nintendo a few years back trying to encourage them to release NES compilations on the Game Cube. Now they have the Zelda collection for the Cube and several NES releases for the GBA. I am not trying to say that I made this happen, but perhaps my correspondence combined with that from a lot of other people (and the fact that they owned the rights!) made them realize there was money to be made! Believe me, if MicroSoft (or any other company) thought they could make money be selling compilations on the X-Box (or any other platform), you would see the game on the shelf next month! Perhaps they are spending too much time looking to the future and not enough time reflecting on the past... I would love to see all of the collections made available. Some of them such as the ColecoVision would be nice to have as I already have almost all of the games for an original CV. However, the Atari 5200 collection would be entirely new to me! Until that happens, I bought several collections including Atari 2600, ColecoVision, MAME, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Genesis, NES, Sega Master System, Game Gear, SNES, and ZX Spectrum to play on my Dreamcast from the website below: http://www.geocities.com/uniquevideogames/ Not very expensive for what you get, (over 6,000 games combined for $100)! That is for the bundle, but you can buy individual compilations for $15. The interface and menus are not polished like a mass market compilation would be, but you get to play the games and that is what counts! The seller accepts PAYPAL, and my purchase was received quickly and without problem. These are especially nice if you are considering buying the original game, but would like to sample it first. Albert
Thanks for all the great poll suggestions. Now that the new forums are online, I am going to try and link polls from the forum on the front page of the site. This will make it easier to update the polls, and they should get updated much more frequently. ..Al
