NovaXpress
I was looking through old mags again last night. While perusing the first CBS ad for 2600 Gorf/Wizard of Wor, I noticed that they list world records (albiet pre-release ones). They list a 2-player cooperative record score for Wizard of Wor which seemed like an interesting idea. Anyone want to take on me and the MegaManFan on various simultaneous 2600 2-player games. Wizard of Wor? Joust? Mario Bros?
sku_u
If me and my wife lived near Omaha, we'd be all over that idea.
NovaXpress
We can all post pics on AA of course, like the solo competitos do.
sku_u
We can all post pics on AA of course, like the solo competitos do. How would you want to score it? Best combined, or average of two?
NovaXpress
Combined scaore is how that magazine did it. Let's see how many of the gang are into this idea and talk out the details.
Saikyo
It's a good idea but it should be separate from the main high score club many gamers (like me) dont have a lot of people to play with and it it was combined in with the actual high score club some may have to miss several weeks or so Overall though it's a great idea actually i was just thinking today about the same idea! "Great minds think alike huh? "
Adrian M
I'd love to try this, the problem is that it's not easy finding a good player to play co-op with, especially for Atari 2600 games.
NovaXpress
Maybe this would be an excuse for people to meet the other AA members in their area
MegaManFan
I know we can easily come up with four in Omaha alone between me, Nova, Bivotar and my wife - and there's a few others in the area who are around but don't post much (NebraskaDragoon comes to mind).
