safestuff
After lagging for a long time, I finally put together a 5 minute overview movie on California Extreme 2002. It will give you an idea of the size of the hall, and the amount of games that show up. The last few shots have the best overall view of the entire event. Feel free to mirror, share and distribute this around. I won't keep it up on my server for long, since it will bring me over my bandwidth limit pretty quickly. If anyone has bandwidth to spare, feel free to host the file. I also working on getting a 2003 video together. http://www.iflea.com/CAX2002.mov It's 28 megs or so. Albert
I just took a look at the video, very cool. Love seeing Tempest projected up on the wall. I absolutely must try to get to the show this year. There were some great arcade games at PhillyClassic 5 this year, but I was too busy to do more than just gawk at them for the brief time I was able to walk around the show. Having an entire weekend of arcade bliss without any other worries would be heaven. ..Al
Tempest
Tempest is nice, but wouldn't a DECO Cassette System being projected up on the wall look even better? Just imagine that "Now Loading" screen being projected in foot high letters.... I really wish I could make it out to the show this year, but between Philly, Midwest, and Austin I think my vacation time is about spoken for. I'm just thankful I had one less expo to go to this year so I could squeeze Midwest in. Tempest
