neotokeo2001
One of my favorite games is Wavy Navy for various computer platforms. Looking at the screenshots, Would a version be possible on the Atari 2600?? The waves have a constant rolling effect from left to right, I think that would be the biggest problem. I wish I had the skill to make this game. Maybe somebody else here can make it. Commodore 64 Apple II are the only ones I know for sure. It is basically Galaxian with a wave gimmick, but it is still fun.
bjk7382
Commodore 64 Apple II 8bit computers too. Here is a screenshot of that. And you are correct, it IS fun Maybe if it was done on the 2600 you could have the waves look like thrust walls. No solid colors, just different length lines. eric_ruck
Funny you should mention Wavy Navy... I used to love this game. I might actually have a poster from this game around somewhere. I already have a Lynx homebrew project on hold, on account of being involved in a startup company taking all my time. But damn this would be an easy Lynx game to do. And it really is a lot of fun. I'm inherently lazy, can anyone give me a link to the Atari 8bit version of this game under emulation? Eric

Nukey Shay
Here's a rough disassembly of Galaxian (the arcade hack). I've relabelled a few things that will allow small patches to be added (like compacting the score digits or getting rid of the copyright and/or logo)...but as Thomas said, with all of those RESP0 calls it's going to be difficult to add things into the running game. galaxian_arcade_disassembly.zip
