Joel D. Park
I was just checking around for Homebrew games I've never seen for the 2600 yet. Does anyone know anything about Z-Blocks. Was it realeased and I just missed it?? http://www.atarihq.com/reviews/2600/z-blocks.html Thanks, Joel D. Alex
I saw that on AGH a year or so ago, and never heard anything more about it. I have no idea what became of it. Scott Stilphen
I don't know about anyone else, but I can definitely live without another version of Tetris....for ANY system! I'm not much for puzzle games, but how about a version of the unreleased "The Impossible Game"? From Leonard Herman's description, it doesn't sound like it would be that difficult for someone to recreate. Gurner
Very old thread, I know... Does this mean a ROM isn't available anywhere? Are there any other two player simultaneous Tertris clones for the 2600? +Nathan Strum
Then try 2600tris: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/153710-2600tris/page-8?do=findComment&comment=2450587 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/5015-z-blocks-homebrew-review/#findComment-2868676 Share on other sites
+Gemintronic
Cheers, but I'm after it for my Harmony Cart to play two player. That website doesn't encrypt or even obfuscate the ROM they use. I'm sure if you look at the HTML you can figure out how to download the game directly. Makes me wonder if they actually have the rights to distribute that game at all. Thomas Jentzsch
Here is the ROM. The screen may roll on real hardware since the title displays to few scanlines and in the game the scanlines are constantly changing.
