digitalpress
Sure, the PSP and Game Boy DS got considerable attention, but it was the Atari systems of old that took E3's 65,000 guests by storm last week. Classic gaming is alive and well! Curt Vendel
Hey Excellent!!! You see the Colecovision Kiosk and the Astrocade Kiosk in the photo's, those are the kiosks I hand built from scratch! Cool, so even the Atarimuseum.com had a presence at E3! sweeeeeeet!!! Those are actually very early designs, 2 newer Colecovision kiosks (improved 4' wide version and a new 2' wide cabinet based on a European design) are now ready as well as some other new custom kiosk cabinets are ready for the expo's around the country, can't wait to see those show up around the country and perhaps even oversea's like several pieces of the atarimuseum that are currently on tour in Europe and the UK right now. Phosphor Dot Fossils
Where's the love for the Odyssey2 kiosk? That one's my favorite of Curt's creations.
digitalpress
Where's the love for the Odyssey2 kiosk? That one's my favorite of Curt's creations. The wood in the kiosks are starting to warp and the O2 unit kinda "fell apart". I did my best to preserve them all but the Odyssey2 kiosk is going to take more than a few new boards to restore. Despite that, both the Coleco and Astrocade kiosks got PLENTY of use. Thanks again for helping CGE, Curt!! You da man. Here's lots more pics from our exhibit if anyone is interested. http://www.videogamecollectors.com/recap/e32k4
