EuroCon is coming home this year, returning to Holland,

where it all began in 1999. Expect the usual: loads of fun,

old and new friends, lots of beer, and oh, some of those

crappy ole videogames! Never mind those mega events:

EuroCon is the place where it all happens! For more info,

check out the EuroCon website: http://www.eurocon.info

Cheers,

Marco

Eurocon 2004 will be held in Scheveningen ( which is essentially a part

of Den Haag ). The venue will be the Ibis-Accor Hotel in Scheveningen.

This hotel can be reached for reservations through:

Mail > H1153@accor.com

Telefone > 0031 70 354 33 00

Fax > 0031 70 352 39 16

URL > www.ibishotel.com or www.accorhotels.com

The staff has been informed about Eurocon 2004 so there shouldn't be

any misunderstandings while making reservations.

The hotel is situated in Scheveningen (a.k.a. Blackpool of Holland) and is surrounded by several nice social outings. For example: within 1.000 mtr. of the hotel there's a casino, a movietheatre, an arcade (!), the beach and many restaurants and bars.

Currently the arcade's top attraction is an 8 player Sega Horseracing game ( gotta love an action-button that reads '' Whip! '' ) but since the

big games change from time to time there's no telling what will be there in October.

The city Den Haag (The Hague) is Holland's third largest city and best known for being its political centre (in other words: the football team sucks!). While Amsterdam and Rotterdam are sligthly better known outside Holland still The Hague is the only large city directly situated on the coast! And this is yet one more reason why The Hague is a more attractive place to hold an international convention.
