Ah, I long for the days of the "edit" feature... Not only do I long for the edit feature here at AA, I also wish we had one for real life. "Life 2.0, now with Edit and Rewind!" Tsukasa
Alright, here is a list of games that I think need to be ported to the 2600, I'm not sure which ones are possible, though. Galaga Lode Runner Altered Beast Space Harrier Bubble Bobble Delta Boulder Dash Dr. Mario Wario's Woods Bomberman Gemeni Wing R-Type Lemmings Cloak & Dagger Street Fighter
Nukey Shay
It's also possible that Broderbund simply wasn't interested in porting games to the home console market. Atari did license "A.E." for the 5200, though, and it's puzzling to think that "Lode Runner" was passed up for that one. According to the Digital Press guide, Lode Runner was planned by Broderbund for the 5200 and by Atari for the 7800. The Atari 8-bit computer version could possible be converted to the 5200. The only thing that might make it impossible is the size. I know at least one version for the 8-bit requires 64K so that's out. I'm not sure how much the different screens take up in memory. If my memory is correct though, each screen was read in one at a time from disk so it might rule Lode Runner out as a possible XL conversion to the 5200. I'm not sure how the XE cart version works. Allan The original game used a grid of 28x14...with 1 screen tile in each "nybble" (14x16=224 bytes). How many screens exist in the XE cart? The original count of 150 could fit in just over 32k with no compression methods being used.
Nukey Shay
EDIT: grid of 28x16

Then again, Someone ported KLAX over to the 2600, why not Dr. Mario?
Tsukasa
The games that need more than one button could require sms or colecovision pads.
