My car would probably die halfway along the way, but Tulsa isn't far enough from my home in Central TX to warrant the expense of a plane ticket, or the pain in the ass of going through airport security. They might mistake my Supercharger for a detonator, and I don't want to have to get strip searched for a trip that I could make in ten hours by car. I kive in San Antonio -- if there is anyone from S.A., Austin, Dallas, College Station or Houston who is going to be driving to Tulsa, and wants to take on a passenger, I'd be glad to pay for all fuel costs, hotel stay and meals. It would save me money compared to renting a car or finding a round-trip flight. I'm easy to get along with -- I will either keep my mouth shut the whole trip (if you're the quiet type), or I can chat up a storm.
