This may be a bad place, but I figure a good place to ask nonetheless. I might be going to Atlanta from Nov. 18-21 (or around there) and was wondering what the cool arcades around there are? DDR is a plus, so I can show off to the southerners, but also that has atleast some classic goodness. Thanks in advance.

  • 2 weeks later...

If all goes well I will be there bringing along 2 gamer chicks.

(Gamer chicks in that they have both been known to play video games on occation in the past)

Possibly a 3rd friend if that is OK?

I also have a brand spanking new body pillow in case Breakpack is around.

Now if only Jun would show up.

Had a great time seeing all that cool stuff Rob.

Those Vectrex arcade translations were awesome.

Sorry we had to leave earlier than I would have liked.

You'll have to let me know who won the Indy 500 rematch.

Was glad to meet you, debro and legeek....

Cathys sister thought legeek was cute... But don't tell you heard it from me. ;)

I'm glad that you and your girlfriend and her sister made it. Sounds like the cat is out of the bag with regard to who thinks whom is cute! ;)

legeek and I were able to fire up two Vectrex consoles and try out the VecLink maze demo program that Alex Herbert wrote! We had the two consoles linked together through the 2nd controller port. We were running through the maze and then we would see eachother and hide around a corner and fire at eachother! Brilliant! :D

Dennis Debro lost to me but won against legeek. So he got to go home happier than last time when he lost every match! It was a draw between legeek and myself! Oh how I love Indy 500!

We pulled out the Bally Astrocade and I showed Dogpatch to Dennis and legeek! Dennis thinks that it can be done on the 2600! :D

We had a great time! Let's not wait a year until we can get together again!

Rob Mitchell, Clairmont and LaVista!

I had a great time guys (and gals :D). I wish I could have stayed later but I had to get home. The drive to the house got me there at about 1AM!!

:x I'll try to practice more for next time.

but won against legeek.

Yeah but I think he took it easy on me.

Oh how I love Indy 500!

It's a great 2 player game.

It sure can. I just need to get over my burn out to do a mock up kernel.

BTW, Rob there was a MK CD between the pages of the Ecco CD. Do you want it back?

Oh and AA has got to get the Ebivision games in their store. Allia Quest was a lot of fun.
