Recommended Posts

Like last year, I'm putting together a page in the 2005 Compendium that covers dates of shows for the year. Is it me, or do dates seem hard to come by this year? Anyway, here are the dates, websites, and locations I have so far. If you can give me a date for a show or think I should add a show please let me know: (These are sorted by dates.)

Man, I hope that these both don't end up being held in October. I am hoping to make Cinci this year if it is indeed happening.

when is your deadline? we are still working on NWCGE dates and location.

January 25 is probably the absolute latest. I will need to get approval from Atari and that could take a few days. Release day is February 1.

Approval from Atari?

We will probably will not have dates for AGE2 by January 25th, but after last year's absence of a show we are definitely planning something for this year. The website will be updated soon.

Approval from Atari?

Cafepress.com won't allow the use of company names for the products they produce (especially since the title of the book is, "The ATARI Times.") So I send the final .pdf to Atari and a few days later they fax me an approval letter which I send to Cafepress.com.

I could probably do it anyway, but it's better to be safe than have them come down on me later about it.

you are still getting heat from Cafepress.com about "Atari"?

Man Ihate that they gave me heat with jagfest issues.

I agrued my point them saying that Idid contact atari but got no response

then I stated that my club has been in contcat with the orginal atari since '89 and had no troubles with them since then ,about 2 weeks after that the AVC news stand was open.

any ways: for the url for VGS'05 please use http://avc.atari-users.net/Events/FestVGS.html

(I noticed you left out the "http://" part of it)

and thanks for inculding VGS in the listings.

(I have no idea about MGC'05 at least until I hear back from Dan loosen)
