kenfused
I have attempted to make the game speed up the music/sound a little and a few other vbi sync'd things when run on a PAL machine to make it comparable to running on an NTSC machine. Let me know if there are any problems on PAL systems. In theory, on an NTSC machine it should behave the same as the last version did posted in the 5200 forum eons ago. bd_demo.zip
GrandviewCoin
Does this mean I'll be able to order A Beef Drop cart to play on my 130XE soon? my Castle Crisis is looking lonely! Daniel

I've just tested it and it seems there's no problem on my real PAL machine. But to be honest I didn't find any differences between this version (Feb 16 05) and a build I've downloaded from your site a couple of months ago (marked as Aug 11 04). F. Albert
Does this mean I'll be able to order A Beef Drop cart to play on my 130XE soon? my Castle Crisis is looking lonely! This isn't the final label (the "ATARI" logotype in the upper-right corner is being removed, and the other text at the top being enlarged a bit, and "1 - 2 Player" will be "1 - 2 Players"), but enough to give you a tease of what's coming: ..Al

kenfused
Compressed the screens using code from the 7800 version so I could free up space to restore the 4-0-1 April Fool's screen if someone wants it back for history's sake. With any luck I didn't break anything and this will hopefully be the final version. bd_demo.zip
GrandviewCoin
So then I guess I can ask here, are there any real compatibility issues with pal carts on U.S. systems? Cause sometimes theres some on some crazy big auction site, that I'd like to bid on.. Daniel

Albert
Very nice work. Henry Lee gets credit for the great label artwork he created for the Beef Drop Label Contest, which originally adorned the 5200 version. Tony "Xot" Morse reworked the label and manual for the 8-bit, and the label looks great sitting on a small 8-bit cart. ..Al
Goochman
This is such a great port - nice kenfused - I notice that you seem to have a bias towards Burgertime but any chance on doing another title on the 80/5200 series? April 1st is right around the corner

Albert
Any idea when this will be available? It will be added to the AtariAge Store very shortly (within the next 24 hours--I just finished up edits on several new items going into the store at once), and will ship next week, assuming that it has stabilized by then. ..Al
