liveinabin
That may well be, but its nice that the new game label designs are being taken in new directions, instead of any retro 'ooh look I made what looks just like an old Atari label'. There's way too much borrowing from previous decades in design today and not enough genuine creativity. Even in our little backwater, it's good to make a difference
Cybergoth
Hi there! quoteI don't have the new label available right now, but Manuel might help. Manuel? Yes, master? Ok, the picture is here: And yes, all Xype titles are available from Hozer now, here's the newly established Xype Section of the Hozer catalog. BTW: Albert, could you possibly change the company tag from these four titles (Gunfight, QB, Thrust & Jammed) to Xype and put links to Hozer into the info tags of the games pages? Greetings, Manuel

Albert
Just when I thought I'd have a break from this weekend, we got bombarded with label entries today! We're now up to 21 labels, with the latest submissions being: Brett Gladson - Submission #3 Brett Gladson - Submission #4 Brett Gladson - Submission #5 Brett Gladson - Submission #6 Brett Gladson - Submission #7 Aimee Tate - Submission #1 Aimee Tate - Submission #2 Dale Crum - Submission #1 Dale Crum - Submission #2 Dale Crum - Submission #3 Benjamin Langberg In addition, several other labels were updated: Efren Ramirez - Submission #1 Efren Ramirez - Submission #2 Jason Parlee Phew! I know one thing, should I ever write a homebrew game, I'm going to hold a contest here to help with a label! But that won't happen anytime soon... I better hurry up and post this before more labels arrive in my Inbox. Now I can get back to playing Final Fantasy X.. ..Al
Thomas Jentzsch
If anybody is interested, my current votes go to (unordered): - Jason Parlee - Chris Johnson #5 - Dale Crum #3 (except for the weird "b" )
+Andrew Davie
Well, I'm quite thrilled with the quality and variety of the entries so far. Well done, everyone! I'm so pleased, in fact, that I've decided to extend the prizes, and will be giving a regular Qb cartridge (signed if you wish) to 2nd and 3rd place entries. Cheers A

cico
I guess this should be addressed to Albert...I tried to send 3 Qb labels this morning, but I don't think any of them made it (we just got a new mail set-up at work and I obviously haven't mastered it yet). If possible, please tell me if you got anything from me. The mail would have been from Cameron Pershall.

tinnes
Anyone know where I can find the font used in Dale Crum's submissions? It's the font used for the 'game program' and 'using joystick controller' type. I've tried atarian, but it's not exact. Thanks, Mike
robotron48
Mike Tinnes, that font Dale Crum is using for 'game program' and 'using joystick controller', I'm almost certain is Bauhus. Its a commercial font, so you're going to have to dish out some cash to get a hold of it yourself. Anyways.. I just ran across this AtariAge site today, and I'm amazed at how strong a following the Atari systems still have. I prefer the NES myself, but I do like to break out the 2600 occasionally. Well I'll be submitting a couple of label designs shortly so look out.
robotron48
Take that back. I'm not really sure what font he's using. But I think the actual font Atari used on those carts is Bauhus.

Well, your pics #2 & #3 seem to be hard on the disqualified edge, according to the new rules about copyrighted material. But it's cool to find other people reading "Perry Rhodan" here Greetings, Manuel
liveinabin
Thats it!! Perry Rhodan! I was trying to place em, It was either that or the cover of the 1979 Maplin electronics catalogue. Just me , eh? hehe
Thomas Jentzsch
Hey, it looks like Dale Crum #4 was done especially for me.
liveinabin
A question, I don't think it says in the rules. Do you want 'Special Edition' on the label or are we just sticking with Qb. What's yer preference?
