Pete Perpetua
For anyone who wants one cheap they are $ 9.99 at Coconuts Records this week (19.99 with a $10.00 rebate). The box has a $49.99 price tag so I assume they are clearing them out.
Clint Thompson
Sadly no coconuts records that I know of here in the Indy area...
Chickybaby
I *think* Circuit City has the same promotion?
Lord Helmet
FYI, we are discussing the new FB 2.0 here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68759 Edited April 28, 2005 by Lord Helmet
Flojomojo
2.0 is where it's at. The original is not worth $10, not even as a novelty.

The original is not worth $10, not even as a novelty. 846063[/snapback] I just checked Atari.com and they are currently selling the FB1 for $60. I wonder what they are thinking

Especially not with the drastically improved model coming "Summer 2005," whatever that means. I hope to see it sooner rather than later! And pinout's no big deal. Scrapping the DB9 for an NES plug anyways. Or building an adapter, but either way, you have to rewire.

Maybe it would be worth it for the unique controllers.

Gaaah, I'm so weak ... I might swing by and grab one just to have a dedicated Solaris machine, bad sound and everything. I wish that game was on the Atari Anthology. Clint Thompson
Also... Atari has changed the price on their website to $19.99. I hope I can run across one for $9.99 locally.... (then I can rant on how good or super crappy it is
