XT
Hi all, This may be a longshot, but here we go. I remember finding a old style video game system maybe about 14 years ago. We had a large gathering the other night, and started talking about how much we loved classic games, and I got them all excited about the Flashback 2 (got a few more sales coming your way, Atari! ) Anyway, I remembered picking up a yellow, i believe self contained unit where the controllers were built into the unit, i think the controllers were rotary style.. I could swear it said magnavox on it, but im not sure.... I remeber clearly it was a yellow system about the size of a heavy sixer 2600.. Any ideas folks?? I found this thing in the junkyard behind my house back in like 1992. My friend and i never could get the thing to work, last i knew he still had it, but i lost contact with him Lemme know! doubledown
Was it actually a bright yellow, or was it a computer beige that had turned yellowish over time.
RangerG
Was the console all yellow or did it just have some yellow writing and bright yellow carts? It may be the Channel F because the rest of the description fits. When I here the words yellow and classic gaming, this is what I think of: http://www.classicgaming.com/gamingmuseum/channelf.html Edited June 4, 2005 by RangerG

Lost Monkey
There was an Odyssey system (pong) that was all yellow.
+-^CrossBow^-
Lost Monkey has it I bet. The only Odyssey based system from Magnavox that is yellow...was the Odyssey 300. I had one myself as a child and it was my official introduction to video games. I can remember at the age of only about 4 playing on that thing and figuring out all the different modes of play. I gave away a boxed one at my first classic gaming event in 2003. Brian Green was the lucky winner and if I'm not mistaken, it was a Earl Green who donated it to be given away. From one Green to another...

Famicoman
Power: If you have the adapter, plug it in, if not, unscrew the bottem of the unit to find a place to put batteries. TV: The end is a spectial plug that needs a special switch box. Assuming you know what a switchbox is, and how you can hook RCA up to the tv. (Like an Atari 2600) follow theese steps. 1. Chop off plug (Trust Me) 2. Cut side of cord casing two expsose 2 wires. 3. Strip theese 2 wires. 4. Get an RCA/ Composite video cord. Chop off the end, but leave about 6 inches of cord with it. 5. Repeat steps 2, and 3 with this cord. 5. You now have four wires. Twist one wire from Odyssey with one wire from composite/ RCA cable. 6. Repeat with two remaining wires. 7. Tape up, be sure wires aern't taped touching. 8. Plug new Wire into a switchbox, or F-Type adapter. 9. Plug this into tv. 10. Enjoy game.
