Pirates or originals?

Both Space Marshal http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=12924 and Galaxy Defender http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=17447 belong to a special Taiwanese category and not under Taiwan (Cooper Black).

Atarimania still has them listed under the Taiwan (Other) category, but if more of these cartridges are going to be revealed, they will get their own category.

Something like: Taiwan (Spectravision Case).

Wilma Wanderer from ITT Family Games was never officially released but only announced:

http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=15843

It is 100% certain the same game as Lilly Adventure from Home Vision.

Space Channel is 100% certain the same game as Laser Gates:

I already said a long time ago that both Space Channel and Hot Wave were Double-Game Package games, because of the typical font.

The same goes for Scorpion by the way.

In fact it was you who were the first one to put the Lilly Adventure theory to me Rom. Since then others have said the same thing. It is interesting that it was announced but never released. Were ITT victims of the game crash too or were there other reasons? As for Space Channel do you have the cart or a pic to back your certaintity? I ask for you felt certain that Pitfall was Treasure Hunt but as yet there is no concrete proof ;)

Here you are, Fox:

I added Wilma Wanderer to the database, because there's a picture of the box in the catalog (just like Pumuckl I).

Sku_u,

I will stick to working on the database, instead of writing an article.

Suntek and Home Vision have my special attention, because these are the only companies that still contain 'genuine title gaps'.

Although I managed to fill most of the gaps, I still need pieces of evidence to proof it (Stone Age being a genuine Suntek title, ZiMag not being an original title manufacturer, etc.)

I appreciate any help you can give me Marco but I need hard evidence of a game existing or not so please, if you can prove Wilma Wanderer was never released I woudl be in your debt.

Hm, it's too late to get philosophical, but how can I prove something does not exist?

I need to read up on Karl Popper :)

Cheers,

Marco

Rom Home Sweet Home was identified on this thread as being Farm Yard Fun. I know that it was on a 126 in 1 console but Space Trip and Saturn 5 were on it too and they were single cartridges so it should be safe to say that the cart of Home Sweet Home is the same ;)

I like the label for Cracker Pet. I've seen it in AA's database before, but have also seen another label for Cracker Pet with a Yars' Revenge rip-off. I wasn't sure if AA database had the end labels mixed up or what. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :) That Theamk label is messed up.

Excellent score, YOK-dfa!

I have some questions:

What is the true identity of UFO Attack, Time Warp and Sky Drive?

Also, would you post high quality cart (front) scans and box (front and back) scans of these, so I can add them to the database?

The green Tonky Kon box is very, very interesting.

It's a mix between a Suntek and a Cooper Black box.

Fascinating.

It most probably has this story on the back, right?

Dear friends,

In Brazil cartridges of Atari 2600 had been manufactured for some companies.

The only (I believe) authorized company officially for the Atari and Activision was the 'Polyvox' (currently 'Gradiente').

At the time did not have (existed) 'control' about the manufacture of these items therefore some companies had manufactured.

The original cartridges from Polyvox were more expensive ($$) and of excellent quality. (similar to originals)

Many other companies manufactured cartridges with quality and with new ideas. ('lesser' price...)

It forgives for placing these images here, perhaps is not correct...

In one 'old' CD (~3 years) with some information about Atari 2600 I found several (various) scans of cartridges.

The names of games are in the images ('saves' in computer), some names are different (not in English).

The photos are with the original name, I did not modify. (correct or not)

Sorry, I don't have images of end label.

It has cartridges of the manufacturers Quelle, SuperVision, Home Vision, SpaceVision and others.

I also placed images of two boxes.

I have others scans that I can place here, informs me if it's interesting.

same in appearance, I will locate them and take some pictures
